Training for women entrepreneurs to increase representation in public procurement

Following the successful training sessions in Sarajevo, the third free training for women entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses is being held today in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska.

This training aims to further empower participants to increase their representation in public procurement processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participants will gain insight into the key steps of public procurement procedures, legal and administrative requirements, and receive practical advice for preparing successful bids.

Three women entrepreneurs who successfully complete the training will receive mentoring support to prepare and submit bids for public calls they are interested in.

The training is being conducted as part of the project “Enhancing Women’s Participation and Gender-Sensitive Policies in Public Procurement at the Local Level in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. The project is funded by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
