The Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina has awarded Eda a certificate of appreciation for successful cooperation and contribution to the work of the institution. The recognition was presented during a ceremony held on May 27, 2025, in the White Hall of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, marking World Metrology Day and the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Metre Convention.
The awarded certificate represents yet another acknowledgment of the successful implementation of the joint project “Enhancing the Work of the Institute of Metrology of BiH through the Development of a Digital Network among Authorized Metrology Laboratories and the Establishment of a Secondary Level Measurement Infrastructure for Calibration”. Within the scope of the project:
- a digital network for recording the verification of measuring instruments was established,
- state-of-the-art equipment for the calibration and testing of photovoltaic cells and panels was procured,
- the efficiency and transparency of the designated laboratories were improved.
This project has contributed to strengthening quality infrastructure institutions that directly support the improvement of Dimension 7 (Standards and Technical Regulations) and Dimension 10 (Internationalization of SMEs) within the Small Business Act (SBA). It was implemented as part of the project “Advanced Implementation of the Small Business Act in BiH2EU – SBA in BiH2EU”, implemented by Eda in cooperation with the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA and financed by Sweden.
Eda extends its gratitude to the Institute of Metrology of BiH for this recognition and looks forward to continued collaboration in strengthening quality infrastructure and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
