Eda – Enterprise Development Agency, Mozaik Foundation, and SERDA – Sarajevo Regional Development Agency invite small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Bosnia and Herzegovina to apply for the free online training program “Road to Export”, aimed at strengthening export capacities for the Swedish and broader European Union markets.
This training is primarily intended for SMEs from Bosnia and Herzegovina that are interested in exporting goods or services to Sweden and the EU.
With the support of Sweden and the SPRING program, jointly implemented by Eda, Mozaik Foundation, and SERDA, the training is organized by OTGS – Open Trade Gate Sweden, part of the National Board of Trade Sweden. The program is designed for companies from low- and middle-income countries to build their export capacities towards Sweden and the EU, with a special focus on export-oriented companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina. It provides them with practical knowledge, tools, and confidence to enter the Swedish and EU markets.
Through a hands-on approach, the training helps participants identify export-ready products, understand EU regulations, analyze potential target markets, and develop concrete, actionable export strategies tailored to Swedish buyers. Particular emphasis is placed on using market research tools, working with trade statistics, and understanding EU market entry conditions.
The training combines self-paced online learning with interactive online sessions. Participants will first be introduced to Open Trade Gate Sweden and the “Road to Export” platform, followed by self-paced online modules covering product classification, market research, trade statistics, and EU market entry requirements.
The total expected duration of the training is approximately 15 hours, spread over a period of five to six weeks, allowing participants to complete the content at their own pace. The program also includes guidance on promotion and the development of a specific export plan. The training is conducted in English.
The introductory online session will be held on December 16.
Interested companies are invited to apply no later than December 10 via the online form: https://bit.ly/putdoizvoza
The number of participants is limited. In case of a high number of applications, a selection process will be conducted, with priority given to companies that submit their application forms first.
