At the 4th meeting of the Working Group for drafting the Quality Infrastructure Strategy in BiH, held on October 17 in Sarajevo (Hotel ibis Styles), further progress was made in the preparation of this highly significant strategic document, identified as a priority in the European Commission’s reports on BiH under Chapter 1 (Free Movement of Goods). In a dynamic and fruitful discussion, a number of open issues regarding the measures outlined at the previous meeting were resolved, and ways for addressing the remaining ones were agreed upon. Additionally, the basic elements of the indicative financial framework, as well as the framework for implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, were discussed and preliminary agreed.
The drafting process for the Quality Infrastructure Strategy in BiH is expected to be successfully completed in December this year, as outlined in the decision to form the Working Group and the activity plan adopted at the first meeting, held on December 11 last year.
The preparation of the Quality Infrastructure Strategy in BiH is part of the activities of the project “Advanced Implementation of the Small Business Act in BiH2EU – SBA in BiH2EU,” implemented by Eda in cooperation with the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA and financed by Sweden.
