The fourth training session held within the project for greater inclusion of women in public procurement

In cooperation with the Association of Businesswomen in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the fourth one-day training session for female entrepreneurs and businesswomen on the topic of public procurement was held at the Europa House premises in Sarajevo. The goal of this training was to further empower women entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses to increase their representation in public procurement processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the training, participants were introduced to the basic steps of public procurement procedures, legal and administrative requirements, as well as examples of preparing bids and participating in public procurement processes. The event gathered 10 participants who, through an interactive workshop and practical work, gained concrete knowledge necessary for successful participation in public procurement processes. Further engagement with these participants is expected through mentoring support, for which some participants have expressed interest.

The training was funded by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) through the project “Enhancing Women’s Participation and Gender-Sensitive Policies in Public Procurement at the Local Level in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, implemented by Eda.
