Thanks to the capacity building of the High School Center “Ivo Andrić” in Prnjavor and the successfully completed accreditation process, training for operators of CNC machines for metal and wood processing will also be available in Prnjavor in the coming period.
This is very important since until now there was no institution in Prnjavor that had an accredited professional training program, while the needs of companies for qualified labor are great.
In the coming period, in cooperation with the Employment Service of the Republika Srpska – Bureau Prnjavor, a public call will be published for unemployed people who will have the opportunity to attend a training program for CNC machine operators, which is a high demanded occupation on the labor market.
The accreditation of the Center of Secondary Schools “Ivo Andrić” from Prnjavor was is implemented within the framework of the „Sustainable Partnership for Employment“ project, which is funded by the European Union, and is being implemented within the second phase of the project „EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II“ (LEP II), which is implemented by the International Labor Organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Local Partnership for Employment Prnjavor is one of 20 partnerships established in BiH within the project “EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II” (LEP II), funded by the European Union with 4 million euros and implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO). The project aims to contribute to the improvement of employment in local communities through local employment partnerships and to improve the skills and employment opportunities of disadvantaged people in the labor market.
