On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, an online workshop was held with the Working Group for drafting the Quality Infrastructure Strategy in BiH, together with the team from the Ministry of Economy of Serbia, with 25 participants. During the workshop, information about the preparation of strategic documents in this field was exchanged, and colleagues from Serbia shared their insights and lessons learned on what and how should be done for more effective addressing of requirements from Chapter 1 (Free Movement of Goods) within the broader EU accession process obligations.
The obtained information, insights, and suggestions will be of great assistance in the process of developing the Quality Infrastructure Strategy in BiH for 2025-2030, where the programming phase is currently being finalized. At the 4th working meeting of the Working Group, which will be held on October 17 in Sarajevo, it is planned to complete the programmatic part of the strategy and address the elements for preparing the indicative financial framework, as well as the framework for implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
The preparation of the Quality Infrastructure Strategy in BiH is part of the activities of the project “Advanced Implementation of the Small Business Act in BiH2EU – SBA in BiH2EU,” implemented by Eda in cooperation with the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA and financed by Sweden.
