During 2018, by engaging relevant stakeholders, a new, “Standardized methodology for strategic planning and managing development of SMEs in BiH” was created.
Due to changes in the environment in which SMEs operate, there is a need to adapt approach in planning of development processes involving SMEs. By retaining proven concepts and developing and applying new ones, the methodology was created which enables planning in conditions of very dynamic changes both stakeholders and interactions between them. A particularly important methodological innovation is inclusion of the principle of the systemic change and the principle of considering complexity.

The methodology was created within the project “European Small Business Act as a framework of SME strategies and policies in BiH – SBA in BiH” which is funded by Sida through the Embassy of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
