Within the project “European Small Business Act as a Framework for Strategies and Policies for SMEs in BiH – SBA in BiH”, using the SIEM mechanism which is being developed and used to improve the implementation of SME-focused strategies and plans, concepts of project proposals for support of women entrepreneurship development in the Brcko District of BiH were evaluated in the premises of the Government of the Brcko District of BiH. The evaluation was conducted by representatives of the Department for Economic Development, Sport and Culture of the Brcko District of BiH (partner in the project SBA in BiH) and Eda, while all three project proposal concepts were evaluated as acceptable. All applicants will be invited to submit full project proposals.
The activities envisaged in evaluated concepts of the project proposals are harmonized with the Action Plan for the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in the Brcko District of BiH (2019-2021) and the European Small Business Act for Europe.
The project “European Small Business Act as a framework of SME strategies and policies in BiH – SBA in BiH” is funded by Sida through the Embassy of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
