Within the project “Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship through Educational and Practical Activities and Individual Approach” in Brcko District, intensive training of women for computer work and business correspondence was conducted for three months, and 16 workshops were held on business plan development and project writing, as well as conducting marketing campaigns and financial management. Art and sewing workshops were attended by a total of 51 participants, and for this activity equipment was procured that will be used for further production of souvenirs and sewing.
During the project, it was worked on meeting and networking women in rural and urban areas, who expressed great interest in participating in the project. Also, an online platform was established for the promotional campaign of women’s entrepreneurship and volunteerism.
The project was implemented by the “Foundation of the Bećirević Family” from the Brčko District, and BAM 20,000 was spent for its implementation from the Mechanism for Support of the Implementation of SME Development Strategies (SIEM). The project was implemented in cooperation with the Department for Economic Development, Sports and Culture of the Brčko District of BiH.
