Eda team presented the most important results and recommendations of the Progress Study of the project “Digitalization and Innovation in BiH”, which was implemented by GIZ in the period March 2019 – August 2021. The progress study aims at clarifying results of up-to-date project interventions by analysing the current status of innovation and digitalization in SMEs in Bosnia and Herzegovina (by focus economic sectors – Wood processing, Metal processing, Plastic, IT and Tourism).
The meeting participants agreed that the findings and recommendations of the Progress Study provide a quality basis and useful guidelines for planning the second phase of the project (2021-2024). This particularly relates to the assessment of current situation regarding the existing ecosystem for supporting innovation and digital transformation, using the European digital innovation hubs concept as a role model.
