At the end of March this year, the International Labor Organization in BiH and Eda signed an agreement on the implementation of the project “Sustainable Partnership for Employment”.
The project, Local Partnership consisting of the Municipality of Prnjavor, the Employment Service of the Republic of Srpska – Prnjavor Office, High School “Ivo Andrić” Prnjavor, Trivas d.o.o. Prnjavor, Topling d.o.o. Prnjavor and Eda, will implement in the period in the period April 2022 – December 2023 project activities in the municipality of Prnjavor.
The general goal of the project is to contribute to the activation and integration of unemployed people in the labor market according to the needs of the local economy, and the specific goal is to continuously harmonize labor supply and demand in Prnjavor through sustainable work of the Employment Council as an effective mechanism for interactive planning. efficient implementation, monitoring and revision of the undertaken measures.
Local Partnership for Employment Prnjavor is one of 20 partnerships established in BiH within the project “EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II” (LEP II), funded by the European Union with 4 million euros and implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO). The project aims to contribute to the improvement of employment in local communities through local employment partnerships and to improve the skills and employment opportunities of disadvantaged people in the labor market.
