The team of selected consultants gathered by Eda, in cooperation with the company’s management, analyzed the business, identified priority needs, provided recommendations for investments, and prepared a draft version of business continuity plans for 20 metal and wood processing companies throughout BiH. In the following period, their finalization and approval by the staff of the EU4Recovery project will follow, as well as the preparation of continuity plans for the new 25 companies.
Professional support to consultants in this process is provided by the consulting company ITCL from Berlin and Eda from Banja Luka.
The EU4Recovery project is jointly implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with the financial support of the European Union (EUR 13 million) and the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (EUR 700,000).
