A contract was signed with the Association RESET – Center for Sustainable Energy Transition, Sarajevo, which will implement the project “Energy Transition in the Industry of BiH-ETI4BiH”.
The project will provide support to SMEs in BiH in the process of increasing energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources, along with the introduction of energy management practices and the establishment of a network of SMEs for the exchange of information and experiences in the implementation of energy transition projects. It is planned to conduct at least 15 preliminary audits, create a database on standardized energy transition measures, create project documentation for some SMEs that is required for applying for support funds, as well as to develop and test a methodology for acquiring ISO status 50001 ready/light for SMEs.
The total value of the project is BAM 166.000, with grant funds amounting to BAM 149.400. The project will be implemented over a period of 22 months and is part of efforts to improve dimension 9 of the SBA profile of BiH (SMEs in a green economy).
The project will be implemented as part of the project “Advanced Implementation of Small Business Act Framework in BiH2EU – SBA in BiH2EU” which is being implemented by Eda and funded by Sweden.
