The Government of the Republika Srpska has adopted the Action Plan for Innovations in SMEs in the Republika Srpska for the period 2021-2023. The Action Plan is harmonized with the Strategy for the Development of SMEs in the Republic of Srpska for the period 2021-2027 given that the priorities related to innovation are elaborated in more detail in this plan.
The Action Plan defines four areas of intervention which implementation will provide support for the development of innovation and improving the competitiveness of SMEs in the Republic of Srpska in the coming period. These include designing and testing the innovation fund, strengthening the innovation infrastructure, increasing involvement in EU and Western Balkan programs, and promoting a platform for networking, cooperation and innovation activities.
The holder of this document is the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship, in cooperation with institutions and organizations relevant to this field, with the support of the project “Innovation and digitalization in SMEs”, implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) and Eda – Enterprise Development Agency within the project “European Small Business Act as a framework of SME strategies and policies in BiH – SBA in BiH”, funded by Sweden.
