As part of the implementation of activities within the Project to Improve the Efficiency of Local Services in BiH (PIPLS), a focus group was held with representatives of bidders in public procurement procedures in BiH. The focus group was organized and conducted by Eda, while the project itself is implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with the financial support of the Kingdom of Sweden.
The aim of the realization of the focus group was aimed at obtaining a comprehensive insight into the practices of conducting public procurement at the local level from the perspective of the bidders after the previously conducted research/survey. The results of the conducted focus group will be used to prepare a study in which key problems and obstacles in the implementation of public procurement (at the local level) will be identified, as well as concrete recommendations for overcoming the identified shortcomings.
