As part of the methodology for conducting relevant analyses for the preparation of the Citizens’ Budget for the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH, online focus groups were organized on May 27 and 28, 2020. The focus groups aimed to collect inputs for the preparation of SWOT and PESTLE analysis for the preparation of the Citizens’ Budget for the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH. The focus groups participated representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury BiH, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs BiH, the Ministry of Communications and Transport BiH, the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees BiH, the Ministry of Civil Affairs BiH, the Ministry of Defense BiH, the Ministry of Justice BiH, the BiH Directorate for Economic Planning, the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office, the Association of Economists of Republika Srpska and NVO Tender. During the focus groups, useful inputs were gathered which will be used in the process of preparing the Citizens’ Budget for the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH.
The focus groups were held within the Program for Strengthening of Public Institutions in BiH, which is implemented by the German GIZ on behalf of the governments of Germany and the United Kingdom. Technical support for the preparation of the Citizens’ Budget is provided by GIZ in cooperation with the Eda – Enterprise Development Agency.
