Free training for unemployed persons from Prnjavor for welding

Within the project “Partnership for quality jobs and competitiveness”, a public invitation for unemployed persons in Prnjavor for applying for free MIG-MAG welding training was announced.

The training is intended for unemployed persons with a place of residence in the municipality of Prnjavor, with the records of active jobseekers of the Employment Bureau Prnjavor, older than 18 years. The training will last 40 school hours (30 hours), scheduled for a maximum of 10 working days (two working weeks), and will be conducted in November – December 2018. The training will be held in the afternoon, in an educational institution that possesses material and equipment for conducting the training. The attendees will be notified in a timely manner about the place and time of the training.

The number of participants of the training is limited to 20 participants (four groups with 5 participants), and selection of trainees will be conducted according to the order of applications until reaching number of candidates for which training can be provided from the project. The complete costs of training and transportation of the training participants will be paid from the project budget (value of the training is approximately 1300 KM per training participant).

Local partnership Prnjavor is one of 19 partnerships established in the country within the project “Support to Local Employment Partnerships in B&H”, funded by the European Union with 4 million EUR and implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO), which aims to re-qualify nearly 2,000 unemployed persons and employ at least 620 of them in 22 local government units.

The partnership consists of Enterprise Development Agency Eda (lead partner), Municipality of Prnjavor, Employment Bureau, Secondary School Center “Ivo Andrić” and companies MI Trivas and Topling.
