Three unemployed individuals from Prnjavor, who successfully completed entrepreneurship training in August 2023 and prepared the best-rated business plans, have signed contracts for the allocation of grant funds to start their own businesses. Grants of up to KM 6.000 will be used to start their own business.
One of the persons who will receive grant funding is Nadja R., who plans to start a business engaged in trade and services. Regarding her motivations for applying for entrepreneurship training, Nadja says:
My personal motivation is to do what I love, when I want, as much as I want, and where I want. To be my own boss, to continue to progress, develop, and be the best! Besides the training itself, which has been very useful, the financial support will also mean a lot to me.
By early 2023, two young entrepreneurs had already received advisory and financial support and are successfully managing newly established companies, bringing the total to five of them now.
The advisory and financial support program for business development is implemented within the framework of the „Sustainable Partnership for Employment“ project, which is funded by the European Union, and is being implemented within the second phase of the project „EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II“ (LEP II), which is implemented by the International Labor Organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Local Partnership for Employment Prnjavor is one of 20 partnerships established in BiH within the project “EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II” (LEP II), funded by the European Union with 4 million euros and implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO). The project aims to contribute to the improvement of employment in local communities through local employment partnerships and to improve the skills and employment opportunities of disadvantaged people in the labor market.
