Prnjavor got 18 new CNC operators

Within the project “EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II” (LEP II), free training of 18 persons for CNC operators was completed. The training was organized and conducted at the premises of the Center of Secondary Schools “Ivo Andrić” from Prnjavor, during July and lasted 140 hours, during which the participants acquired the knowledge and skills needed to work on CNC woodworking machines.

All participants of the training program for operators of CNC woodworking machines are from Prnjavor, they are unemployed, and most of them are youth. For successful completion of the training program for operators of CNC woodworking machines, participants received a training certificate.

It is important to mention that in the previous period, also within the framework of the project “EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II” (LEP II), the accreditation of the Center of Secondary Schools “Ivo Andrić” from Prnjavor, for the implementation of the training program for operators of CNC machines for metal and wood processing was completed, which provided the prerequisites for conducting out the aforementioned training.

Local Partnership for Employment Prnjavor is one of 20 partnerships established in BiH within the project “EU Support to Local Employment Partnerships – Phase II” (LEP II), funded by the European Union with 4 million euros and implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO). The project aims to contribute to the improvement of employment in local communities through local employment partnerships and to improve the skills and employment opportunities of disadvantaged people in the labor market.
