The platform NOD.ba in cooperation with Eda announced a call for scholarship applications in the field of non-formal and additional education in mid-February 2023. Over 200 candidates applied for this program, and scholarships were offered in cooperation with partners Q Station, InfoARS, LANACO, Purple Key and SYS Company.
Candidates could apply for some of the 16 courses offered, including Frontend – Java Script + React and Node.js, React Advanced, Python for Beginners, Python Advanced, Frontend Development, PHP Web Development, Agile Project Management, Advanced MS Excel, PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Web Design: Programming in HTML5 w. JavaScript / CSS3, Introduction to PHP programming, Introduction to C# programming, Introduction to graphic design and Photo editing Masterclass 2023.
A total of 49 candidates received scholarships that included all the costs of participating in education. The total value of the scholarship fund was KM 43.000, and like the NOD.ba platform itself, this activity is also supported by the Swiss Government through the activities of the MarketMakers project.
The goal of these scholarships is to provide support to those who want to upgrade their existing knowledge or acquire new ones through informal education, requalify and secure a better position on the labor market, and ultimately a better job.
