Good progress of BiH in implementing the Small Business Act

Representatives of Eda attended the EBRD Annual Meeting & Business Forum in Sarajevo, where the “SME Policy Index: Western Balkans and Turkey 2019” was launched.

In the new issue of the publication “SME Policy Index: Western Balkans and Turkey 2019”, prepared by the OECD in cooperation with the EBRD and the ETF (European Training Foundation), on page 526 was stated that “Bosnia and Herzegovina has made good progress in implementing the Small Business Act since publication of the SME Policy Index: Western Balkans and Turkey 2016 “.

We are proud to work with partners on the project ” European Small Business Act as a framework of SME strategies and policies in BiH – SBA in BiH”, which contributed to the achievement of this progress:

  • the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH,
  • the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republika Srpska,
  • the Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the Federation of BiH,
  • the Department for Economic Development, Sports and Culture of the Brčko District.

In the following period, we will work together on harmonization of SME policies.
