ISO 50001: 2018 standard for energy management implemented in 5 companies and 17 auditors certified

Within the project “Implementation of ISO 50001: 2018 Energy Management Standard in SMEs” implemented by TUVAdria d.o.o. from Sarajevo, the ISO 50001: 2018 standard for energy management has been successfully implemented in 5 companies:

  • Eko toplane Banjaluka d.o.o. from Banja Luka,
  • Optima Power d.o.o. from Modriča,
  • Tehpro CNC d.o.o. from Derventa,
  • Bentoproduct d.o.o. from Šipovo,
  • AL-M d.o.o. from Derventa.

Consulting activities included conducting internal audits, initiating corrective measures, and evaluating the energy management system by management. In each company, team members in charge of implementing energy management standards were trained to further implement activities according to the action plan, aiming at energy savings and energy performance improvements.

Also, within the project, 11 internal and 6 leading auditors for energy management were trained and certified according to ISO 50001: 2018.

The project was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska.

The total value of the project is KM 49,392, while the grant amount is KM 45,028.

The project was implemented within the project project “European Small Business Act as a framework of SME strategies and policies in BiH – SBA in BiH”, funded by Sweden.
