Preparation for the implementation of technical standards in SMEs

A contract has been signed with the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the implementation of the project “Preparation of SMEs for the implementation of quality standards with the aim of business internationalization.” The project aims to prepare at least 20 export-oriented SMEs for certification in quality standards (BAS EN ISO 50 001, BAS EN ISO 14001), as well as for the implementation of the CE marking.

The project activities include analyzing existing facilities in accordance with technical standards, analyzing production costs to optimize them, and providing recommendations for improving operations and preparing the companies for the selected standard.

The total value of the project is 255,972 KM, with grant funds amounting to 250,000 KM. The project will be implemented over a period of 12 months and is part of efforts to enhance dimension 7 (Standards and Technical Regulations) and dimension 10 of the SBA profile in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Internationalization of SMEs).

The project will be implemented within the framework of the project “Advanced Implementation of the Small Business Act in BiH2EU” (SBA in BiH2EU), funded by Sweden.
