The first online meeting of the Export-oriented Industrial Innovation Network was attended by around 30 participants – directors of companies in the field of metal processing, wood processing and IT sector, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society, the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of and Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka.
The most important components of the NOVALIS (Network of Value Adding Local Innovation Structures) project were presented to the participants, with a focus on the planned activities of the Export-oriented Industrial Innovation Network.
Elements of the Action Plan for Support of Innovation in SMEs in the Republic of Srpska for the period 2021-2023, which is currently being developed, were presented, too.
Useful suggestions, ideas and comments regarding the planned activities of the Export-oriented Industrial Innovation Network, as well as regarding the Action Plan to support innovation in SMEs in Republika Srpska were gathered from the participants.
The NOVALIS project is co-financed by the European Union through the EU4Business project jointly implemented by GIZ, UNDP and ILO, within the Local Development Strategy – Program for Local Self-Government and Economic Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina of the Federal Republic of Germany.
